To craft rugged luxury itineraries for open minded explorers seeking faraway and bespoke experiences
I don’t often write about my education through the University of Florida, mostly because I feel it shows in the dedicated work I put forth. Consistently people ask me how I learned to do everything I have built through my blog and with my travels, and the answer pretty much always comes back to UF. Being ranked one of the top 10 Journalism and Communications in the good ‘ole USA, it’s no joke that the school holds high standards for us, and therefore work is top notch. Through my time in the newsroom I have learnt there is no room for fact error, mistakes are inevitable, always put your best foot forward and there is almost NEVER any need for the word “that”.
Through my time at the J school I have learned failure is OK, but I’m not OK with it. Though I know some things I strive at will fail, in the end all will be well. Stress, deadlines, and politics are all a portion of the job- but those aren’t what I associate my time in the J school with.
I started off in the J school in Italy, during a study abroad program, and it quite literally changed where I am today. Seriously- I’m back in Italy instead of Florida. I have a substantial and successful blog that continues to grow every month, and is earning me only reputability and impression across social media and the travel based web.
Continuing onto my final semester will help entrench my learning and deepen my skills, and I will be able to continue to apply my writing, editing, video editing, photoshop, and graphic skills into everything I do. Thanks to CMIR I have learned different paths to telling my story to those who want to share with me. Through different courses I have learned how to best brand myself and my blog’s brand, and I could not feel more confident in what the future holds for me.
One foot at a time, I’m gonna kick ass at influencing, traveling, success, and life. All thanks to you UF. Go gators.
