What are presets?

Presets are really advanced filters for the photos you take.  They are applied in Adobe Lightroom, either on the Desktop Version or the Free App on your phone.

Does it cost anything to use the presets?

The cost of my presets is varied depending on whether you buy the desktop or mobile version.  The Desktop App for Lightroom by Adobe does have a monthly fee, though you get a discount if you are a student.  The mobile app on your phone is free but does limit some of the things you can do compared to the desktop version.

Do I really need presets?

Yes and no.  It honestly depends on what you want to use them for.  If you are a budding photographer and just getting into learning how to edit, I would say presets (the desktop version) are a must by for you.  Do you just want a cool Instagram and have it look a little more cohesive, but not in this game to make money?  Then you should probably consider mobile presets.  If you have any specific questions about what you think you should work with, feel free to DM me on Instagram @the_bohotraveller or send me an email at sydneyzaruba@gmail.com

Do I need to do anything special to use the presets?

For mobile, just keep shooting on your phone as is, and that will work just fine (though your phone now does have a way to shoot raw, and your photos will be much better for it!) When working with any semi or professional camera, you should ALWAYS be shooting in raw.  This is the best way the Desktop presets will work.

If I don’t like them or they don’t work, can I get a refund?

Sorry, but I work hard at these and I have a zero refund policy.  If something isn’t working for you though I can schedule a 1 on 1 call to work and see what we can do to fix any problems.
